Chopard Watches
The watch and jewelry brand Chopard is Swiss made with some of the finest parts and time-piece machinery on the market.
In 1860, Louis Ulysse Chopard founded it. His father had a modest watchmaking shop of his own. Louis Ulysse, however, had no desire to take over the family business. He subsequently established his own factory in Sonvillier, Switzerland, where he focused on producing high-precision chronometers and pocket clocks. The production was relocated to Geneva in 1937, and in 1963 Eszeha, a German jewelry company purchased the business. During this time, the jewelry factory started to make its first pieces. In 1974, the first line of Happy Diamonds watches for women was introduced. Jewels have been added to this collection over time.

Chopard is a highly regarded premium brand that is independently owned. The brand provides a wide range of luxury watches, such as the Alpine Eagle, Mille Miglia, and L.U. C series, with a watchmaking tradition that dates back to 1860 and an equally prestigious pedigree in fine jewelry. Chopard is a well-known brand among watch aficionados, with a reputation for excellent movement craftsmanship and a variety of styles from retro-inspired racing chronographs to integrated sports watches and exquisite high-complication designs. The company, known for its fine chronometers, has sponsored numerous auto events, most notably the Italian Mille Miglia race since 1988. Only the top luxury watch manufacturers are known to sponsor such great racing events, which showcases the overall prestige and brand recognition that Chopard garners from its long-time fans and collectors.
